By loading bikes vertically, you can maximize space behind the bumper, and the Dual TiltAssist damper makes loading and unloading a breeze. Thule's hydraulic damper provides weight assistance, making it easier to both lower and raise the rack with bikes fully loaded. When tilted down, the rack locks in place to load up, and by gently pushing the accessible tilt-release handle down, the rack's memory function activates, allowing you to let go of the handle and use both hands to push the rack back up again.

Thule's push-down handle tilt allows easy trunk access, even with your bikes loaded up. The high load capacity of 55lbs (25kg) per bike and a max carrier load capacity of 220lbs (100kg) makes it possible to transport the heaviest bikes and lighter e-bikes. Loading and unloading are quick and painless, with no lifting needed. The wheel baskets are designed to allow bikes to easily roll in and out when the rack is tilted down. This product is intended for use on public and private roads, including off-roads such as gravel roads, forest service roads, and access roads.
